Au-delà de la couleur, or Beyond Colour, is an invitation to reflect upon the symbolism of black and white, the emotional resonance of these two colours and their ability to escort the most radical and minimal plastic experimentation. Four major works by Adel Abdessemed will be shown in the exhibition at the Couvent des Jacobins, Rennes, alongside works by Maurizio Cattelan, Tacita Dean, Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Theaster Gates, Mark Grotjahn, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Dorothea Lange, Manolo Millares and many more.
